Description under the first picture reads "Sackville-street as seen from O'Connell Bridge. The material damage has been heavy, and the city's most noble thoroughfare is more or less in ruins." Under second picture (left) "Civilian has to show his passport." Under third (right) "Tradesmen's carts, motor-cars and baskets used to make a street barricade."
