Letter from John O'Grady to his future wife Josephine arranging a meeting to go see a pantomime in the Theatre Royal.
"Naughty Mama"
John O'Grady sent this note to his future wife, Josephine, inviting her to see the panto in the Theatre Royal. After confidently stating he'd see her "at the Metal Bridge [i.e. the Ha'penny Bridge]", he followed up "Hoping that your naughty mamma won't object"!

Some discoloration at top and bottom of letter, potentially from fire damage. The paper itself has been folded twice and has corresponding creases, there is some spotting from age.
