Gas mask from the Emergency, with box, 1939. Black rubber face mask with transparent plastic eyepiece. Canvas straps with buckles to fasten over face. Number of stamps on mask. One stamp reads "Lot 176, SG and Co. 20 Dec 1939" Three other stamps on metal filter of mask - one reads "Civilian". In cardboard box stamped with large letter S on three sides - indicating small size mask. Text under lid has directions for packing and use of respirator. Name handwritten on top of box in pencil, Brendan.

Another of two men on O'Connell Street, writing on back reads "Max Coleman (left) and J. Shortall (Main St. photographer on O'Connell Br. circa 1949/50. Max Studio opened in April 52", blue stamp on back reads "J. Shortall, Photographer, 65 Glenealy Rd, S. C. R, Dublin". Also two appointment cards and one business card for Max Studio, 55 Lower O'Connell Street.

Poster for "The Mikado", Rathgar and Rathmines musical society. The first performance by the society in 1913. The poster belonged to Jack O'Brien (named on it) a well known local actor, singer and producer. Donated to the Rathgar and Rathmines Musical Society by Joe and Lucy Lane, members, also received it from Mr. O'Brien.
