LMODTwo oak panels engraved with the names R. Mitchell and J. W. Elvery.
From donor email 'these individuals are prime examples of prominent Dublin retailers. I contacted Mitchells some time ago regarding Bobby Mitchell’s panel but sadly heard nothing, so my original thoughts about the Little Dublin Museum came into play.
Bobbie also had a lot of sporting interests, he was an international rugby football referee having played the game at a high level for many years. He also played polo and enjoyed his hunting in the winter months.
I am very glad that the two panels will be displayed somewhere as they are part of Dublin’s retail history."
