From Police to Military: "Please pass bearer P.H. McCarthy Beechfield, Bray through streets of City +DMP area daily.
Patrick Hartnett McCarthy was permitted by this pass to travel from his home, Beechfield, on Novara Avenue in Bray, to his offices in Dublin. A consulting engineer at P.H. McCarthy and Sons, he would later be the consulting engineer on the board of the Ardnacrusha project for the Cosgrave government.
